POSITION TITLE: Cycle Counter SUMMARYThe Inventory Cycle Count Analyst is responsible for the inventory tasks within the respective Retail DC. The duties are listed below along with any additional duties as assigned by management.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMust be able to communicate at a high level to production employees and managementThis position must be computer literate due to the required data input of inventory physical countExperienced in Microsoft Office is requiredProblem solving capabilities is a must Request cycle count item list to be included in weekly random audit for Retail officeConducts weekly inventoryReporting physical count, posted Reconciliation, damaged "On Hold" quantity Quality HoldDaily cycle counts against booked inventoryDaily review of backlog to check inventory shortagesMaintain a working relationship with the Central Receiving Manager and the Divisional Inventory TeamMaintain excellent working conditions, a safe work environment, and high morale within the plant.Keep Production Manager informed regarding problems or situations that may affect the overall production operation of the plant. Comply with company policies and procedures.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GEDCandidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:Experience working in a manufacturing environmentComputer data-entry experienceExperience in the corrugated box industryLANGUAGE SKILLSExcellent communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, proportions, and volumes. REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram (graphic) form. Ability to solve a variety of problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited information or standardization exists. TECHNICAL SKILLSApplication knowledge and skill for computer data entryApplication knowledge of products and production processesQuality standards - knowledge of the DC Quality System along with Customer requirementsPHYSICAL DEMANDSEmployee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, stand, and sit. Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTSThe performance of the Inventory Supervisor will be measured as follows:Operating standards - The employee will need to meet or exceed the Operating Standards set in the Distribution Center.
