Purpose: Deliver and apply Midwest's Dust Control and Stabilization products with a focus on operational excellence and safety. This position plays a key role in representing the company, directly interacting with customers, and ensuring that every application meets the company's high standards for service and performance

Purpose: Deliver and apply Midwest's Dust Control and Stabilization products with a focus on operational excellence and safety. This position plays a key role in representing the company, directly interacting with customers, and ensuring that every application meets the company's high standards for service and performance
Key Accountabilities:
- Operate Company Spray Truck: Responsible for operating the company spray truck, including transporting, delivering, and applying chemicals to assigned customer sites after completing required training.
- Ensure Accurate and Timely Application: Ensure the accurate and timely application of Midwest products by understanding and following the spray plan for each customer site. Promptly notify the manager and customer of any delays that may affect the scheduled delivery or application.
- Safely Drive Commercial Vehicle: Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle and transport products on public highways between various locations, including state-to-state travel.
- Willingness to Travel: Be willing to travel up to 60% of the time to service customers.
- Compliance and Reporting: Comply with all state and federal laws while operating Midwest commercial vehicles, and promptly report any traffic violations, road accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or other delays to management.
- Maintain Spray Truck and Trailer: Responsible for maintaining the company spray truck and trailer, including washing and cleaning, monitoring tire pressure, grease points, caring for the product pump, performing minor repairs, and handling other basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Perform Daily Inspections: Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure that all mechanical systems are in good working order.
- Communicate Equipment Issues: Follow maintenance discrepancy protocols to properly communicate equipment issues to the maintenance team.
- Build Customer Relationships: Build positive relationships with key customer contacts and identify the appropriate person for various interactions.
- Complete Administrative Tasks: Required to properly and timely complete all paperwork, forms (electronic or otherwise), and other administrative tasks; communicate through email and video conferencing utilizing a company-provided tablet.
- Maintain Team-Focused Attitude: Maintain a team-focused attitude, consistently working and communicating professionally with others, even under stress, and escalate issues to the appropriate level when necessary.
- Facility Management: May include facility management responsibilities, such as reporting inventory, maintaining a yard and building, performing regular cleaning and housekeeping, and reporting any property issues to management.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Understand, follow, and model Midwest's "10 Rules to Live By," a guide that addresses the ten most critical areas of safety impacting our operations and provides instructions on mitigating risks. Ensure that safe behavior is practiced daily and emphasized in both training and workplace actions.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Class A CDL in good standing with Tanker endorsement preferred
- Minimum requirement: Class B CDL in good standing
- At least 3 years driving experience to perform job safely
- Time management and organization skills to stay on schedule
- Ability to work with peers in a team effort
- A well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision
- Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demands
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Extensive travel (by truck, airplane, automobile) in the conduct of business is necessary.
- Regular use of the telephone, tablet and/or mobile devices for communication.
