Cobb Technologies is seeking a well-qualified and experienced Sales Managers with a strong mix of imaging sales knowledge, workflow management, major account selling.
Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals who work closely with business owners by providing technology recommendations and financial justifications for new acquisitions. Additionally, this individual will manage sales process activity, to include prospecting, proposal generation, and territory management. The Regional Sales Manager will interact primarily with business owners and executives; knowledge of imaging, Managed IT prospecting and software solutions are essential. This position is a dynamic and fast-paced mixture of consulting, account relationship, leadership, culture, policy development and oversight and development of sales team.
Major Goals:
- Provide leadership and direction for the entire sales team, from pre-sale to post-sale deployment.
- Develop and oversee department processes and procedures, internal cross department communications and engagements.
- Responsible for meeting revenue and profit goals for territory.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring and bringing new team members to an acceptable level of success
- Engage business owners and C-level buyers in conversations about their business strategies and recommend technology solutions to support those strategies.
- Stay abreast of emerging technology to meet client future.
- Proactively participate in networking events, community meetings, and industry-related functions to foster partnerships and enhance the company's visibility within the community.
Job Functions:
- Lead Internal Team meetings to evaluate team forecasting, activity levels and net new opportunities.
- Review with each team member their weekly activity and forecasting for pipeline development.
- Assist team members with the financial structure of working opportunities
- Oversee the team's ability to identify steps necessary to stabilize client environment - devise plan to align solutions, budget and
- Final review of all Proposals/Statements of Work tied to initial client needs and solution
- Assist team members with proposal presentations when needed.
- Participate in sales-led client meeting to deliver proposal and gain client.
- Answer any questions and address team member/client.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support, Account Management, and Operations, to address customer concerns, resolve account-related inquiries, and ensure smooth order fulfillment processes.
- Facilitate solutions training with the solutions analyst team and engage sales team.
- Monitor and enforce CRM data integrity, ensuring that information is current, complete, and accurate, to provide valuable insights for forecasting and decision-making. Approve deals in CRM for service exceptions.
- Lead the recruitment and on-boarding of sales professionals for team, maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure readiness for future team needs and growth opportunities.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates will also possess the following skills:
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to a team of sales professionals.
- Previous experience working for an imaging dealership, with a very strong understanding of the Managed Print Services model, pricing and best practices.
- Patience and strong customer services This individual will be working with a myriad of business, technologies, applications and personalities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, as well as independently.
- Be able to communicate effectively with business owners, IT staff and department managers.
- Strong Project Management and Communications skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to use a consultative approach to understand and influence decisions.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Proven leadership skills and successful sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
