Job Requirements

Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: Physical Requirement: Must be able to frequently lift and carry light and medium weight objects such as cartons that weigh up to approximately 30 pounds. Able to frequently walk, bend, stoop and reach. Physical Requirement: Able to stand for prolonged periods of time and able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Lifting often may be from floor level to eye level. WG-03 To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. To be qualifying your experience should demonstrate the following: Able to perform very heavy manual labor including lifting and moving very heavy equipment and supplies through confined spaces. Use weight-handling equipment to move forms, supplies, property, and equipment to and from the warehouse. Possess knowledge and skill in the operation and control of heavy power equipment and know how to work safely with heavy tools. Operation of weight-handling devices such as electric hand trucks, pallet jacks and dollies to move very heavy loads. Prior job experience or on-the-job training is normally required to gain this level of manual skill. Physical Requirement: Able to exert very heavy physical effort in performing such tasks as lifting and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds and operating heavy equipment.
