Job Title : SAP DS Data Engineer for BI Project Development Experience Range : 5-6 years Client : Emcure Work Mode : Onsite, 5 days a week Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Job Description : We are seeking an experienced SAP DS Data Engineer to design and develop ETL workflows for BI projects. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration, transformation, and reporting for business insights. Key Responsibilities : 1. ETL Development : - Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SAP Data Services (DS). - Implement data cleansing, enrichment, and transformation rules within ETL pipelines. 2. Data Integration : - Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources into data warehouses or data lakes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow across systems. 3. Performance Optimization : - Optimize ETL processes for scalability and performance. - Monitor and troubleshoot ETL pipelines to resolve any data flow issues. 4. Collaboration with BI Teams : - Work with BI developers and analysts to create data models supporting reporting needs. - Ensure that data models align with business requirements and analytics objectives. 5. Documentation & Governance : - Prepare detailed documentation for ETL workflows and data mappings. - Adhere to data governance and quality management practices. Required Qualifications & Skills : - 5 years of experience in SAP DS and ETL development. - Strong knowledge of data integration, data cleansing, and transformation processes. - Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts. - Familiarity with data warehousing and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Experience working with large datasets and optimizing data workflows. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
