SAP MM Consultant - Implementation & Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant with over six years of expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the SAP Materials Management module. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end procurement, inventory management, and material planning within SAP. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in supply chain processes and ensure optimal system performance. Key Responsibilities : - Lead SAP MM Implementation : Spearhead the configuration, customization, and implementation of the SAP MM module to support procurement, inventory management, and material planning functions. - Business Requirement Analysis : Collaborate with business teams to analyze and translate business requirements into SAP MM solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals. - End-to-End SAP MM Functionalities : Manage and support procurement cycles, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, stock transfers, goods receipts, inbound deliveries, sales orders, billing, IDOCs, jobs, and master data. - Inventory Management : Oversee inventory processes such as goods movement, stock transfers, and inventory reconciliation, ensuring data accuracy and optimal stock levels. - Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution : Provide technical support for resolving complex issues related to SAP MM configurations, workflows, and customizations. Offer ongoing assistance to end-users to ensure system stability. - Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with finance, logistics, production planning, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP MM and other SAP modules. - System Testing & UAT : Conduct system testing, validate data, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure smooth deployment and end-user adoption. - End-User Training & Documentation : Develop and deliver training programs, user documentation, and ongoing support to ensure effective use of SAP MM functionalities. - Continuous Improvement : Stay informed about the latest SAP advancements and industry best practices, offering recommendations for system and process enhancements. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Minimum of 6 years of experience working with SAP MM, including configuration, implementation, and support. - Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, material master data, and invoice verification within SAP MM. - Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality SAP solutions. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a focus on attention to detail. - Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with technical and non-technical teams. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a significant advantage. - SAP MM certification or related certifications in SAP SD or SAP FICO preferred.
