Delivery Head - Game Production

Job Description : Job Location : Kolkata Looking for a Head of Game Production to mentor and manage our production process. This will involve formulating and implementing the best processes and tools to manage the delivery of games/feature(s) in the allocated time and at the required quality. Our endeavor is to inculcate a best-in-class production process for our globally targeted mobile games, and you need to be someone who has essentially been there, done that so that you bring along with yourself the requisite knowledge and experience to achieve the same. Additionally, the candidate must also be capable of managing other type of projects such as mobile and web applications as well. Responsibilities : - Drive execution of the game development teams to build amazing games that will delight and engage players. - Lead a team of producers and art-producers working across multiple game development projects. - Establish world class and highly efficient production processes and ensure their adherence. - This includes using software tools to streamline and improve efficiency. - Participate in strategy discussions with stakeholders and plan production road-map across multiple games and game teams. - Ability to manage web and mobile applications as well apart from games. - Align cross-functional teams' focus & resources to accomplish the product's highest priorities while keeping key stakeholders in the loop for key decisions and changes - Maintain partner relationships and close communication with developers across different time zones to ensure they meet deadlines, objectives, and quality standards - Translate short and long-term production objectives into a clear operation and action plan with well-defined milestones that are clearly communicated. Evaluate risks proactively, define mitigation plans that deliver great outcomes for the product. - Lead important meetings, drive critical conversations, effective debates, distribute action items and follow up and follow-through. - Team resource, budget planning & projections, P&L management along with other business stakeholders. - Maintain and periodically evaluate key production related metrics to gauge performance and identify areas for improvements. Requirements : - 15 years of experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with consumer-facing services or products. - Experience in managing new game development will be a plus. - Experience in scaling up the live operations will be of great advantage. - Team leadership abilities, facilitate the best thinking, inspire team accountability through actions. - Excellent project management skills. - Must be able to prepare and present detailed project plans. - Strong organizational and communication skills (written & verbal). - Proficiency in software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile and Lean methodology) and tools (Jira and Slack). - Experience with external/overseas development teams would be great. - A strong passion for games and an ability to critique them is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
