Senior Analyst - Business Intelligence

Principal Purpose of Position: Designs process flows and data mappings that depict our transactional and reporting systems. Recommends and creates Business Objects Universes to support our customers and users requirements. Understand the concepts, best practices and functions to support a Data Warehouse driven Reporting Solution Provides report creation/debug assistance when required. Provides project and task updates on a timely basis for our customers and staff. Manages FleetTrak/ADO and provides timely and informative updates. Good IT Background with a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of Business Processes with analytical and proactive problem-solving skills Mentors the other BI Analysts and IT staff on best practices. Works with the DBAs to recommend ERD augmentation where applicable. Works with Holmans internal departments to understand needs, scope projects, and provide results. Detail-oriented and ability to learn and work independently as well as in a team environment Good Communication and writing skills Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. Team Player KNOW-HOW Education and / or Training: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required. Relevant Work Experience: 4 years of working experience with SAP Business Objects Universe Designer (IDT) and Web Intelligence 4 years of working experience developing in SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence suite Require strong skill set of 3 years of working experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server Must have experience with understanding ER diagrams Nice to have experience in Azure/Power BI working environment Planning / Organizing / Managerial Knowledge: Willingly offers assistance to others must be approachable to peers and management. Must be well versed with creating relational and dimensional database architecture. Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving.
