Junior Mechanical Engineer - contratto di apprendistato About the Role Location: Italy, Trento Remote vs. Office: Hybrid (Remote/Office) Company: Siemens Energy Transformers Organization: Grid Technologies Business Unit: Products Full / Part time: Full-time Experience Level: Early Professional A Snapshot of Your Day: The candidate will be employed within the engineering team of the Siemens Energy Transformers factory in a multi-ethnic, multicultural, upbeat and dynamic context. The candidate will come into contact with colleagues within the local Italian team as well as with colleagues from other Siemens Energy sites in Europe and worldwide. In particular, the resource will be responsible for the development of transformer projects based on the customer's technical specifications. Thanks to this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and consolidate relations and knowledge with both internal departments (Production, Quality, Purchasing department) and suppliers as well as with the customer. How You’ll Make an Impact: Perform important parts of mechanical design and prepare technical documents for the construction of power transformers, according to the Customer specifications, the quality requirements, and the internal rules, using 3D tools. Prepare technical documents (drawings, specifications) for the procurement of components and assemblies and for the Customer. Work together with the other design groups of the Engineering department. Cooperate with the company functions (Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality). In the medium-long term, define the external layout of the transformer, looking for solutions fulfilling the Customer needs while considering constructional and safety aspects. Collaborate with other Siemens engineering groups and R&D teams to support product improvements. Participate in internal projects for specific improvements of the design and engineering processes. What You Bring: Bachelor's / Three Years Master's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering. Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken. Good general IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products and 3D CAD tools. Aspiration to develop a technical career and grow in a real cooperative environment.
