Business Development Director Consumer/Retail (m/w/d)

Location: Paris, France

Your mission: As Business Development Director, you are responsible for client acquisition and the development of ongoing client relationships with our premium clients in the region. Your experience in selling within the IT-Service industry in the French market adds value for our clients and ensures Wipro’s standing in the market. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and a keen sense for the latest market developments and trends.

Your tasks:

  1. Acquisition of new clients across the French Consumer Goods, Retail, and Logistics market
  2. Nurturing and growth of existing relationships
  3. Market analysis regarding new business and expansion opportunities
  4. Benchmarking against competition, reporting, and forecasting
  5. Ramp-up planning and launch of new projects
  6. Positioning Wipro as the IT partner of choice among key customers in the market

Your qualifications:

  1. Successfully completed university studies
  2. Minimum 7+ years of experience, with at least 5 years as a Sales Executive in the IT sector
  3. Experience handling larger outsourcing engagements within the IT-Service industry (pre-sales or sales phase) focusing on France-based customers, preferably in the Retail, Manufacturing, or Consumer sector
  4. Proven track record of sales successes
  5. Project Management experience
  6. Willingness to travel
  7. Open, communicative, and team-oriented
  8. Self-reliant and compelling
  9. Analytic and conceptual mindset
  10. Goal-oriented and resilient
  11. Business fluent in English and French
  12. Well-networked at the CXO levels of customer organizations in the French market
