Powered Access Engineer – Independent Business
Our client, a well-established independent business, is seeking an experienced Powered Access Engineer to join their team. With depots in London and Eastleigh, they are a leading supplier of powered access equipment across the UK. Their extensive product range includes booms, scissor lifts, telehandlers, forks, spiders, and more, ensuring a dynamic and varied working environment.
The Role:
As a Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of powered access equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly respected company in the industry that values technical expertise and high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and repairs on powered access equipment, including booms, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and other machinery.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimise equipment downtime.
* Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
* Provide technical support and advice when required.
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of powered access equipment or similar machinery.
* Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including hydraulics.
* A relevant qualification in engineering or a related field.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to work, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
