Info about what the Site Facilities Manager role entails
The Site Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the comprehensive maintenance, safety, and operational functionality of a facility, including offices, factory floors, warehouses, parking, and grounds. Key responsibilities include managing building systems (such as electrical, HVAC, and plumbing), overseeing capital projects, and coordinating maintenance and emergency responses. Additionally, this role involves managing outsourced services (e.g., cleaning, security, waste disposal) and vendors, optimizing budget efficiency, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The manager also leads a facilities team, focusing on continuous improvement and professional development to enhance site efficiency and service quality
Essential Requirements of a Site Facilities Manager
* 3-4 Years minimum experience in facilities management
* Strong Track record in Project Management, from inception to completion.
* Exposure and experience managing manufacturing facilities.
* Managing hard and soft FM.
Desirable Requirements of a Site Facilities Manager
* Experience in facilities refurbishment.
* Knowledge and experience of health and safety.
* Hold’s a UK Driving License.
