We are looking for a motivated Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in the world of construction and project management.
Our client would be happy to consider anyone from a recent school / college leaver upwards.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will assist in managing the financial aspects of construction projects. This will include helping to prepare cost estimates, monitor budgets, and ensure projects are completed within financial and contractual parameters.
You will work closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors, learning to conduct site visits, measure works, and prepare valuations. You will also assist in preparing tender documents, contracts, and reports. As part of your role, you will gain experience in resolving disputes, negotiating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to challenges. You should have strong numeracy and analytical skills, along with excellent communication abilities. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
