Locum Childcare Lawyer

£50 - £55 per hour

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a capable Childcare Lawyer to join a well-respected local authority based in the North West on a locum basis for 3 - 6 months.

As Childcare Solicitor you will be confident in carrying your own caseload of care proceedings, as well as pre-proceeding matters. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Handing a full caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children's matters
• Attending PLO and legal planning meetings
• Drafting documents, including statements and threshold agreements
• Non-accidental injury
• Exclusion orders
• Emergency protection orders

Office and court attendance is mandatory but those offering flexibility around attendance will be considered.

The role can offer flexible working arrangements and although part time availability is desirable, candidates offering full time availability will also be considered.

Our client is open to considering applications from candidates from both public and private sector backgrounds if relevant public childcare experience is demonstrated.
