An Associate Design Director at Electric Square UK:
- Has a thorough understanding of the games industry in general, across player behaviours and motivations, how products are designed for specific audiences, and sound reasoning for commercial successes/failures
- Has a broad and deep knowledge of all aspects of design, specialising in those most closely related to the games/genres in development in the studio
- Supports the game teams with creative direction
- A proponent of the studio design strategy and champions the highest quality of design across the studio
- Plays a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the design dept, from hiring and project deployment to skilling up and career development
- Is an expert verbal and written communicator across projects, pitches, RFPs, and partners
- Part of the business development team responding to RFPs and securing new and exciting projects for the studio
What we'd love to see from you:
- Five shipped titles, with a minimum of two as lead
- At least eight years working in the games industry
- AAA experience is a requirement
- Experience working in a co-dev environment desirable
- Experience working in Unreal desirable
