Commercial Counsel

A leading global retail brand is seeking a 6+ PQE Commercial Lawyer to join the team as European Commercial Counsel, based in Hertfordshire.

Reporting to the Legal Director, the Commercial Counsel will take on a broad range of international work, partnering closely with key stakeholders across Europe and the United States. Occasional travel to these locations will be required.

The Role:

The Commercial Counsel will provide legal support across a range of areas, including E-Commerce, Marketing & Advertising, Travel, Logistics, and matters relating to the company’s depots and warehouses.

In addition, there is scope for the Commercial Counsel to gain exposure in Competition Law, Food Regulations, Litigation and M&A.

The Person:

• 6+ PQE, with substantial experience in Commercial and Corporate matters, ideally with experience in Retail/Manufacturing
• Ability to commute to Hertfordshire 5 days per week
• Ideally, professional language skills in either French or Spanish
