PMLD Teaching Assistant:
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to support children with PMLD at a school near to Blackpool. This will be a perfect opportunity for a psychology graduate.
The Role:
Communication with parents and staff
Assisting with personal care
Working with challenging behaviourPosition Details:
Location: Blackpool
Position: PMLD TA
Hours: 8am-3pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: Ongoing
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experienceExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
Team Teach qualification would be highly desirable
Relevant experience working with childrenTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
