Job Description
Remote Pharmacy Commissioned based roles
I have a locum commission-based role, working for a company as a Remote Pharmacist, offering New Medicine Services to patients over the phone.
This is a commission-based role, and you can do it in your free time or a long side your permanent job, so it will be £3 per phone call/Successful NMS. The phone calls will usually last between 3 – 5 minutes.
Remote Pharmacy Commissioned based roles
The service provides support to people who are newly prescribed a medicine to manage a long-term condition, which will generally help them to appropriately improve their medication adherence and enhance self-management of the LTC. Specific conditions/medicines are covered by the service, which are detailed below.
Hours are 9am – 7pm Mon-Sat you can pick and choose your hours and days!
The service is split into three stages, which are:
* patient engagement;
* intervention;
* follow up – (you do not do this the client does the follow up calls)
Perm successful NMS has to be GREEN successful as the provider uses a Highlight system:
Green eligible , Red ineligible, and blue wrong.

You will be responsible for the patient engagement and intervention, so what you will be doing is conducting NMS (New Medicine Service) phone calls to see if the patients is eligible for an NMS. You will be paid per successful NMS.
