Contentious Competition & Group Actions Lawyer

Our client, a leading international firm in London, is looking for an Associate with a minimum of 2 years' Competition and Group Actions experience (claimant and/or defendant side) to join, who enjoys leading on cases and driving forwards business development ideas.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the areas set out below:

• Cartel and abuse of dominance claims (Chapter I and Chapter II);
• Providing pre-action advice and support to clients in relation to potential competition claims;
• Preferably some broader commercial litigation experience;
• Preferably some experience of the new opt-out regime in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be interested in Competition, Consumer Protection, Securities and Broader ESG focused actions. The firm sees Consumer Protection and ESG claims as areas of great expansion in the Competition world, and is accordingly looking for an ambitious Associate to help to grow these areas of the practice.
