Building Surveyor - Partnership Opportunity in a Leading Independent Consultancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join an independent Construction Consultancy with over 40 years of industry expertise.
With a team of 22 professionals, including Building Surveyors and Architectural Technologists, this role offers a fantastic chance for career progression, including the potential for partnership within a few years for the right Building Surveyor.
The Role of the successful Building Surveyor
As a Building Surveyor, you will work within a collaborative team, delivering a variety of services with a particular focus on contract administration and specification writing.
You will manage projects within the commercial property sector, working with high-profile clients such as Royal Mail. This role is perfect for a self-sufficient, ambitious individual looking to take on greater responsibility and move into a leadership position as part of a clear succession plan.
Responsibilities:
Manage contract administration and specification writing for a wide range of projects
Work across multiple service lines, predominantly within the commercial property sector
Collaborate with a team of Building Surveyors and Architectural Technologists
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Progress towards partnership within a supportive and forward-thinking environment
The Ideal Building Surveyor
The ideal candidate will be a Building Surveyor with a strong consultancy background, who is confident in contract administration and specification writing. You will have excellent communication skills and the ambition to advance into a leadership role. MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential, provided you have the right experience and drive to succeed.
MRICS qualified (ideal but not essential)
RICS accredited degree
Proven experience in a construction consultancy environment
Strong skills in contract administration and specification writing
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A self-motivated, ambitious approach with a focus on career progression

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Hybrid working (2 days in the office)
