Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Canterbury
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £162.31 to £251.71 (In line with your current pay scale) PAYE, Pension, Free ParkingScience Teacher - Canterbury
Academics are currently working with a school in Canterbury who are seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to join their secondary school. The school aims to provide a supportive and engaging environment for their students, inspiring them to unlock their full potential and achieve academic excellence.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons to students of all abilities
Plan and prepare lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and school's curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support when needed
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Contribute to the development and improvement of the science curriculum and resources
Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events as required
Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the school
Requirements:
A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree in science
A strong passion for teaching and inspiring students
Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
DBS certificate (Enhanced Disclosure) which is on the Update Service or be prepared to get one through Academics Ltd.This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The school would also consider part time teachers too.
