The Company
A market-leading Construction Contractor who completes projects for major blue chip retail clients are looking to add to their support team. This business has over 25 years of experience within the industry delivering high quality fit out projects across the retail sector. This is a full-time permanent position based from the company's North West office in Warrington.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
For this role you must possess the following;
Prior experience working for a construction company as an Administrator
A good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligations
Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the worksThe Role
As an Administrator, you will take charge of all admin tasks while supporting the commercial and operations teams on projects in the Retail Fit Out sectors based in Warrington.
Duties
Support project managers by tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring all tasks stay on schedule.
Maintain organised records of contracts, drawings, permits, and correspondence, ensuring all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Act as a point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, coordinating responses to queries and relaying critical information.
Assist with ordering materials and tracking delivery schedules to ensure timely supply and avoid project delays.
Monitor budgets, prepare cost reports, and assist with the reconciliation of invoices, flagging any discrepancies.
Ensure all health and safety documents are prepared and distributed, assisting with risk assessments and maintaining compliance records.
Collect, verify, and submit timesheets for site staff, coordinating with payroll to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Manage subcontractor documentation, contracts, and compliance paperwork, ensuring all parties meet contractual requirements.
Assist in quality control processes by managing snag lists, monitoring project progress, and helping resolve issues as they arise.
Handle general office duties such as filing, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and supporting the project team with ad hoc tasks as needed.This is a Permanent position with a competitive salary (£26,000 - £29,000) on offer for the successful candidate.
