Job Description
Maintenance Engineer, Musselburgh, Temp to Perm, £19.10 per hour + Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x + Sundays paid double!
Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team within a well-established manufacturing company, based in Musselburgh. The successful candidate will have prior experience in an industrial setting and hold a strong background with breakdowns, PPMs and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimized plant and machinery breakdowns. This is a 12-week temp to perm position.
Responsibilities:
* Mechanical maintenance across entire site, ensuring all machinery and equipment operate at peak performance.
* Provide support to the engineering department to ensure timely completion of PPM schedule.
* Attend all breakdowns onsite, ensuring equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimized.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, resolving issues swiftly and effectively.
* Continuously seek opportunities to enhance machine performance.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in automotive/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Control and Hydraulic Systems.
* Excellent planning skills, with the ability to develop effective maintenance programmes.
* Candidates with experience or knowledge of electrical systems would be preferred.
