Job Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team as a Credit Controller. If you have a passion for customer service, enjoy problem-solving, and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!
As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring prompt payment collection from our client's extensive customer base. Your responsibilities will include maintaining customer details, resolving queries both on a day-to-day basis and through credit control procedures, and posting credit notes for returns and customer claims. Collaborating with a team of other credit controllers, you will work together to reduce outstanding receivables and aged debt. In addition, you will be responsible for chasing over-credit customers to ensure the efficient release of sales orders.
In this fast-paced role, excellent communication skills are a must! The successful candidate will have a confident telephone manner and previous customer service experience. Full training will be provided, along with the opportunity for long-term professional growth, including the possibility of studying towards an accounting qualification. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive team player who is well-organised and has strong keyboard skills. While previous office experience would be an advantage, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are equally important.
Key Responsibilities:
Prompt payment collection for a list of up to 500 customers
Ensuring customer details are kept updated
Resolving customer queries in a timely manner
Posting credit notes for returns and customer claims
Collaborating with a team of credit controllers to reduce outstanding receivables and aged debt
Chasing over-credit customers to facilitate the release of sales orders
Creation of new customers on the ERP system
Maintenance of pricing conditions for customers
Assisting with Payables and Sales and Distribution activities as needed
