Job Description

Simplee Drinks is an innovative beverage brand bringing unique and refreshing drinks to the market, including Aloe drinks, CBD drinks, Bubble teas, and Coconut jelly drinks.


Stocked in major UK retailers including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Co-op, and Costco, Simplee has a loyal customer base and a strong retail presence. With a focus on high-quality ingredients and wellness-oriented products, we’re passionate about creating beverages that not only taste great but also offer a unique twist with our drinks with "bits".


This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, dynamic brand at Simplee Drinks as we expand across the UK grocery market. We’re looking for a skilled National Account Manager (NAM) or Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) with proven experience managing top-tier grocery retail accounts.


The role is home based with bi-weekly team meetings in London.


Key Responsibilities


  • Winning New Business with Existing and New Customers

Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities with both existing and new customers, expanding Simplee Drinks’ presence and driving growth across our beverage portfolio.


  • Build Cross-Functional Relationships

Develop connections with customer teams across buying, supply chain, category management, and format divisions, ensuring a solid foundation for mutual success with our Grocery customers.


  • Strategic JBP Execution

Design and implement effective Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key customers, maximizing product sales during peak trading periods and delivering on our brand’s ambitious growth goals.


Leverage Data for Optimization and Selling in

Leveraging data platforms such as SIP to identify insights to drive our promotional strategy as well as using data to sell in to new and existing customers.


  • P&L and Forecasting Management

Lead P&L oversight and accurate forecasting for assigned accounts, meeting targets across value, volume, and gross profit percentage.


  • Manage Product Portfolio

Oversee our product categories—Aloe drinks, CBD drinks, Bubble teas, and Coconut jelly drinks—to ensure product alignment with customer needs and account goals.


What We’re Looking For


This is an exceptional role for an experienced NAM or SNAM who’s ready to bring their energy, expertise, and drive to an innovative and fast-moving brand. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:


Top Grocer Experience

Proven success in managing at least two major grocery accounts within the FMCG food and drink sector.


JBP and Budget Management

Strong experience in creating and implementing Joint Business Plans and handling budgetary responsibilities.


FMCG Food or Drinks Background

A solid foundation in FMCG with hands-on experience in food or beverage categories.


Sales and Profitability Success

Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and profitability, with examples of strong business results you’ve personally delivered.


Analytical & Insight-Driven

You’re adept with data, identifying new insights and applying them to maximize account performance.



Salary

Dependent upon experience but c£60,000 - 80,000k + bonus & package
