Job title: Experienced Cover Supervisor
Location: Wolverhampton / Walsall

Salary: £90 to £130 a day (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, temporary to permanent

They are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Cover Supervisor to join their staff and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Your new role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the school by covering lessons for absent teachers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning atmosphere.
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students stay on task.
• Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Reporting any issues or incidents to the appropriate staff members.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably as a cover supervisor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas.
• A positive and proactive attitude.
