Your experience conducting Modelling and Simulation techniques within the defence industry will prove a vital asset to our client.
Our client are an award winning, industry leading technical consultancy delivering world class services in Capability Sustainment, Cyber Security & Information Assurance, Training & Leadership Development and Support to Operations.
They are looking for a Principal Modelling, Analysis and Simulation Consultant to join them.
Due to growth a new leadership role has emerged within the Capability Sustainment business unit to lead the modelling, analysis and simulation capability. This role will work across multiple types of platforms, and across multiple domains, including space.
They have a huge variety of projects on all the time, ranging from niche consultancy projects to large, high-profile programmes, so you will get the exciting opportunity to work in a challenging varied role.

Responsibilities will include:
Determining the whole life cost of a fleet and its support solution (facilities, people, S&TE, inventory and supply chain) to help influence platform design, operations, and help support the identification of appropriate commercial options.
Determining the carbon footprint of the fleet and its support solution
Determining if the fleet and its support solution can sustain operational / surge requirements, identifying bottle necks, constraints, and logistical delays.
Deliver modelling outputs in a meaningful way to the customer, adding value, and demonstrating benefit.
Helping to create further digital solutions in some exciting opportunities.
Leading the growth of this capability, including input to sales / marketing, further recruitment, training requirements, and strategy development.To be suitable for the role you will have:
Highly experienced in undertaking modelling / analysis / simulation in Defence projects
Previous leadership experience
