Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in the NN4 area. If you have a passion for mathematics and a commitment to helping students succeed, we’d love to hear from you!
Position: Maths Teacher
Location: NN4
Salary: £150 - £210 per day (based on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire a love of mathematics and help students achieve their full potential.
Regularly assess, track, and support student progress.
Work collaboratively with the Maths Department to develop curriculum and resources.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required Qualification: Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school.
Skills: Strong subject knowledge, classroom management expertise, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
Requirements:
Experience in a safeguarding or pastoral care role, ideally within a school or youth setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to students, parents, and staff.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Ability to work proactively and with sensitivity, handling safeguarding matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
