Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Location: Liverpool
Role Type: Full-time, Temporary with the potential to become permanent

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on helping children overcome barriers to learning and supporting their personal and academic growth.
About the Role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have visual impairments and complex needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting individual and small groups of children to access the curriculum.
Assisting with the use of specialist equipment and resources tailored to the needs of visually impaired students.
Promoting independence, confidence, and emotional well-being in all learners.
Implementing personalised learning plans under the guidance of teaching staff and external specialists.
Managing challenging behaviours in a calm and effective manner.
Contributing to a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Experience working with children with visual impairments or complex needs (desirable).
A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
