Gear Cutter - Nights // Newbury // Up to £26ph inc shif

Location / Hours
Located in Newbury, this position offers a consistent day shift with a base of 40 hours per week, ensuring a stable and predictable schedule:
Days: Monday to Thursday
Hours: 7pm until 6amGear Cutter Responsibilities
As a Gear Cutter, your responsibilities will include:
Setting and operating Gear Cutting / Hobbing machines.
Booking on and off work orders.
Self-inspecting components to ensure quality standards.
Cleaning and deburring components for precision and presentation.
Gear Cutter Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
Several years setting and operating conventional and CNC Gear Cutting machines.
Ideally Hands-on experience with Pfauter / Gleason machines featuring Bosch/Siemens controls.
Familiarity with Klingelberg bevel cutters and gear checkers (ideal but not essential).
