Since our inception in 2012, EDP has helped more than 30 owners of well-run propane businesses transition to their own "next chapter" while benefiting everyone involved.Responsibilities:Safely transporting propane to residential, commercial, and industrial locationsConducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicleLoading and unloading propane cylinders and tanks using proper lifting and safety techniquesAdhering to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the safe handling and delivery of propaneProviding exceptional customer service and addressing customer inquiries or concernsMaintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and customer transactionsCollaborating with the dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and schedulesInstalling, inspecting, and maintaining propane tanks, lines, and equipmentConducting leak tests, pressure checks, and system performance evaluationsPerforming repairs and troubleshooting on propane systems and appliancesEducating customers on safe propane usage and providing exceptional customer serviceCollaborating with the sales team to identify potential sales opportunities and upsell products or servicesMaintaining accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventoryComplying with safety regulations and industry standards at all timesKeeping up-to-date with propane industry trends, technologies, and best practicesRequirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).1-3 years of job-related experience (preferred).Positive attitude, safe mindset, and great communications/customer skills.CDL-Class A or B (Hazmat/Tanker) endorsements (must attain within 90 days of hire).Physically able to lift and pull up to 60 pounds, in all weather conditions.Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.HVAC, Electrical, CTEP training (preferred, not required).We Offer Amazing Benefits!In addition to competitive wages, we are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to help support the physical and financial health of our employees and their families.Our benefits program allows you to customize your coverage, to select the best plans to meet your family's needs while taking advantage of tax savings.
