Job Responsibilities
Part-time administrative worker needed to provide essential office functions to include: answering phones; taking messages; transferring calls to appropriate individuals; replying to emails. Assisting with processing of documents. Enter information into databases. Use computers for various applications. Operate office equipment, such as fax machines and copiers and other related duties as assigned from the Dean of the PROPEL Division.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
High School Diploma with 2 years' experience in information technology environment. Microsoft Office software experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced multifaceted work environment.
The minimum as listed plus must have excellent customer service skills; experience working in an office environment, preferably at a post-secondary institution. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and the use of basic office equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, by phone, and face-to-face interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree in Automated Office Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in information technology environment preferred.
