The District Office is seeking a FT Administrative Assistant to support our Curriculum and Instruction department. Summary of Purpose:
As a FT Administrative Assistant to the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, you will play a vital role in enhancing our curriculum and instruction efforts. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director and ensure the smooth operation of various educational initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact our students, staff, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence: Respond promptly to inquiries and provide professional communication that reflects our commitment to high-quality service.
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings, workshops, and trainings, ensuring all materials and logistics are prepared in advance.
Documentation & Compliance: Assist in preparing board motions, grant applications, and compliance reports, maintaining meticulous records for federal programs.
Data Management: Maintain databases for volunteers, professional development, and curriculum materials, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support & Collaboration: Collaborate with staff across departments, providing back-up support to the front desk and fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a public school office preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years of administrative assistant experience preferred with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong interpersonal skills; ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
