Utilizing Design Thinking & User Experience methods, you'll work to deliver breakthrough products and services that delight our customers. We're seeking forward-thinking, laser-focused professionals with a passion for bringing innovative, exciting, and sustainable ideas to life. We have opportunities around the world for you to contribute to such advancements as autonomy, electrification, smart mobility technologies, and more!

Our product teams collaborate with various stakeholders and partners to build and ship delightful products at market speed to improve the lives of our customers. We are looking for experienced digital product managers who have a passion for growing their skills, engaging in exciting work, and tackling challenging problems as we build the future of connected experiences at Ford.

What you'll do...

As a Product Manager, you will work directly with a cross-functional product team to deliver cross-channel digital interactions that delight, build connections, and deliver value to both customers and Ford.

  • Write clear and concise product requirements that articulate the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features.

  • Represent the customer’s perspective throughout the product lifecycle - from problem discovery, solution ideation, and validation through iterative development and delivery.

  • Guide product decisions by collecting and analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and products.

  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, business partners, and fellow product managers.

  • Earn trust with others and cut through ambiguity.

  • Facilitate and participate in design thinking sessions with various technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Help Product Managers assess and prioritize opportunities and constraints.

  • Drive rapid iteration of design prototypes and working applications.

  • Produce materials for business partners and developers, including user flows, roadmap, and user stories.

  • Influence the product management competency as it grows within Ford Digital Product.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience or a related technical area (i.e. program management)

  • 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry

  • 2+ years of experience in the driver information (cluster) space.

Even better, you may have...

  • Masters Degree in HCI, Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology/Human Factors, Fine Arts, Communications, or related field.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven record of creating, documenting, and presenting product strategies and features.

  • Experience with automotive software regulations in the driver information space.

  • Experience coaching and guiding others in product management.

  • Experience with conducting discovery and user validation interviews.

  • Experience working independently with internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Experience working with product designers and software engineers

  • Familiar with agile framework.

  • Strong product intuition with a passion for creating innovative, experience-driven products.

  • Conviction to always do what's best for customers, with a humility to listen and learn.

  • Flexibility to adapt to change and influence in a dynamic environment.

  • Foundational, analytical, and technical: you can collect and analyze data from various sources, identify key insights, spot optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions.

  • Develop strong technical knowledge to dive deep to troubleshoot customer issues.

  • An understanding of applicable regulations applicable to the driver information display in a vehicle.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home?
