Job Description Summary
Technology is what will help us create a more integrated healthcare experience for our members as they use a number of services across Humana. We are in search of a Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional to be a liaison between operations and IT and assist in making decisions on testing features/functionality of our provider systems to overall improve the experience for our members and providers.
Senior Business Systems Professional formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. In this role you will monitor and measure relevant performance metrics to assess the performance of IT resources and optimizes performance through process improvement activities. The team is accountable for delivering and supporting innovative advanced automation solutions, resulting in operational efficiency improvements. The team works on complex projects, developing and maintaining industry leading software.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 3+ years of analytics, systems testing, product support or related field OR 5+ years of analytics, systems testing, product support or related field
Professional experience utilizing ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
1+ years of problem analysis and process experience
Prior experience working directly with technical developers as well as the end users of a system.
Professional experience utilizing Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
Professional experience with Office suite, intermediate to advance skills in Excel, Access
Must meet Humana’s Work At Home Connectivity policy
Meet location/travel requirements listed under additional information
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies

Additional Information
Travel: 10%
Hours: 8am-5pm Eastern time zone hours, regardless of location. Also, some night and weekend work is required.
The candidate could qualify for any – remote, hybrid, or office.

Work at Home Connectivity Requirements
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$78,800 - $108,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
