Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years

License: VA License required

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Must-Have: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Job Description:

- Provide general adult care and adult critical care.
- Perform assignments in adult critical care and adult ICU as needed.
- Adapt to workload based on RVU allocation, handling up to 580 minutes of assigned tasks per 720-minute shift.
- Floating to general care areas outside of assigned ICU may be required.
- Participate in one-week department orientation followed by shadowing and training.
- Take charge of own assignments from the third week of employment.
- Work 6 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule cycle.
- Expected to manage one major holiday and one minor holiday.
- Epic system access and proficiency required.
