Travel Surg Tech in Vero Beach, FL

**Job Title:** Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

**Job Specialty:** General Operating Room Surgical Technician

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours for 3x12's

**Experience:** 18 months required; 2 years preferred

**License:** Locals accepted with same rate

**Certifications:** NBSTSA/NCCT preferred; BLS required

**Must-Have:** Nicotine-free; COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)

**Job Description:**

- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend requirements to be discussed with the manager
- On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
- Floating within the scope to meet facility needs
- Floating to sister facilities as required
- Not open to accommodating block schedule
- All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be provided upfront
- Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required
- EKG and Pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts max each, no remediation for re-test
- Time-sensitive modules to be prioritized upon assignment confirmation
- Smoke-free facility with no exceptions
- Orientation includes 16 hours of non-billable training
