**Job Title:** CVOR Tech

**Job Specialty:** Scrub Tech for Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Cases

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 13 hours, 6 AM - 7 PM; rotating to nights as needed

**Guaranteed Hours:** 39 weekly

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years recent scrub experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases

**License:** Valid state license required

**Certifications:** BLS (AHA required), CST, and state registration

**Must-Have:**

- Ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills, team player
- Participation in professional activities of the department

**Job Description:**

- Handle complex cases such as Coronary Artery Bypass, Ascending Aortic Aneurysms, Valve Repair and Replacement, Structural Heart Procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip), Thoracic Organ Transplant (Heart and Lung), ECMO, Ventricular Assist Devices, redo, and emergent cases.
- Required adult scrub experience; pediatric scrub experience is a plus.
- Participate in numerous ongoing research protocols.
- Call duty involves approximately 1-2 shifts per week and 1 weekend per month.
- Flexibility to rotate shifts and to work weekends per department needs.
- Floating within the scope of practice as necessary.
- Participation in holiday rotation per department needs.
