Lead QA Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Lead Engineer with strong experience in Backend Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka to define, program, debug, and modify tests for software enhancements and new products. This position involves working in local, networked, or internet-related systems, and requires proficiency in QA automation testing and familiarity with logistics domain processes, particularly virtual inventories/warehouses.

You will also be responsible for:

• Developing scalable microservices using open-source Java frameworks like Spring MVC/Web Flux and Spring Boot.
• Integrating Distribution Centers and Warehouse Management Systems (WMoS), specifically Manhattan Associates' WMoS.
• Leading the design and development of new capabilities in partnership with Manhattan Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
• Work with multiple databases (DB2, SQL, Oracle).
• Lead and design scalable microservices architectures.
• Collaborate on the integration of Warehouse Management Systems (WMoS) and Transportation Management Systems.
• QA automation testing and tool exposure.
• Documentation for testing, installation, and maintenance.
• Exposure to the logistics domain, setting up virtual inventories, and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with Manhattan Associates to lead design and development efforts for new logistics capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Integration with Manhattan Slotting and Labor Management Systems.
• Knowledge of 3rd party logistics integrations.
• Experience in programming languages such as Java EE, JavaScript/React.

Primary Skills:

• QA/Automation exposure.
• Backend Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka.
• Experience with Manhattan Associates' WMoS and integration with Distribution Centers and Warehouse Management Systems.
