- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am- 4:30pm
- Hybrid Schedule
Job Summary:
As the Application Analyst III at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for facilitating specific areas of IT including full life cycle management, from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance of technology solutions and platforms. In addition, you will identify opportunities with the goal of reducing manual efforts, supporting the growth of the organization, promoting patient and user experience, and creating innovative solutions with operations. You will foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders, promote the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms, and perform administrative tasks as assigned.
What you will do:
- Under general direction, facilitate the use of technology by the end-user and ensures systems are performing at more efficient levels.
- Designs and documents application changes and new features or defects in application area assigned.
- Prioritizes, reviews, and responds to customer requests and leads customer meetings.
- Recommends, contributes, and leads efforts for application and workflow process improvements.
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes.
- Provides application support to other teams based on subject matter expertise.
- Maintain all assigned applications and version levels.
- Develops and executes test plans according to standards.
- Completes necessary internal reporting and reports status to management.
- Completes any other applicable requests from management.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience, providing informal guidance to junior staff.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, on-call hours, and hours as required during crisis situations
- Leads, develops, and executes application projects and project plans according to standards.
- Adheres to all department standard operating procedures and customer service principles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Minimum Education Level
- Bachelor's degree with four (4) years previous experience in IT or relevant user experience OR
- Minimum of six (3) years of relevant IT experience or relevant user experience.
Level of Education Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum Licensure Requirements
- Licenses specific to portfolio of responsibility within specified timeframe
Minimum Certification Requirements
- Certifications specific to portfolio of responsibility within specific timeframe
- Preferred certifications: Epic ClinDoc / Stork or other Epic certs
Minimum Work Experience
- Four (4) to six (6) or more years of experience relevant to portfolio of responsibility in a healthcare setting or related industries.
Minimum Work Experience Preferred
- Previous healthcare experience.
Skills:
- Able to communicate with operational/senior leadership with little direction or coaching.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team setting, possess excellent verbal, written, customer service, and project management skills.
- Serves as key point person for technical and operational leadership for problem resolution and project management.
- Able to mentor and educate junior team members.
- Utilizes effective analytical and troubleshooting skills with minimum to no assistance.
- Continually seeks to utilize technology in order to improve systems and procedures/processes.
- Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist.
