Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50
Job Description: Technical Service Technician-Cleg (C-Leg).
The Service Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining upper or lower limb prosthetics. In this role, every day is an opportunity to directly help someone. This position requires multi-tasking, time management and prioritization skills, attention to detail and a 'customer first' attitude.
• Repairs, calibrates and maintains upper or lower prosthetics.
• Performs component testing protocols for quality assurance.
• Provides technical assistance to customers regarding repair issues, estimates, product knowledge and compatibilities.
• Offers guidance to customers on repair decisions.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
• Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
• Shows dependability by being to work on time and plans requests for time off ahead of schedule.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Promotes and personally observes safety procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of related technical experience.
• Minimum 1 year of computer experience; must confidently operate a computer and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. ERP systems (like SAP) experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools and inspection equipment.
• General mechanical aptitude or equipment troubleshooting and repair experience a plus.
• Hand-eye coordination required.
• Ability to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with appropriate audience.
Dress Code: Casual warehouse. Long pants, close toed shoes
