We are currently looking for a Full Time Biometric Screening Technician to join our UL Health Engagement team located at the Abbott Miller Bldg working .Summary:The Biometric Screening Technician will perform biometric screenings and other day-to-day activities that are associated with Biometric Screening events provided by the Chickasaw Nation. (Biometric screenings consist of lipid screening, blood pressure, glucose testing, and BMI testing.Responsibilities:* Set up, breakdown, care and maintenance of screening equipment* Present and inform client of biometric screening results* Deployment of all marketing initiatives developed for the biometric screening team including, but not limited to, promotions developed to increase participation and collateral/educational materials developed for clients* Maintains calibration and maintenance logs of all screening lab equipment as required* Reports the malfunctioning of lab or screening equipment or concerns with any supplies to the Lead Biometric Screening Technician* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.Competencies:Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters* Must be able to work quickly, efficiently and accurately* Must be detail-oriented* Must be self-motivated* Ability to work independently* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Ability to multitask* Works well within a team* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and managementSkills:Essential:* Basic Computer skills* Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of productsExperience:Essential:* No prior experience required.Education:Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential:* Pass general background check* Standard Driver's License* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)Working Conditions:Essential:* Pass pre-employment drug test* Fast-paced* Team-oriented* Potential exposure to contagious diseases* Effective work relationships inside and outside organization* Sometimes bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* May work day shift* Travel is primarily within Chickasaw Nation boundaries
