AUDIOVISUAL TECHNICIAN LIVE EVENTS

Description Mills James is seeking a dynamic full-time or part-time Audiovisual Technician to join our growing AV team. This position's primary responsibilities are to delivery, set-up, operation and strike audio visual equipment at live meetings and events.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty and other duties that may be assigned. Responsible for the management of daily setup and strike of the AV equipment for live shows, meetings and events; Pick up and deliver AV rental equipment as needed Performs warehouse operations duties including: checking in and out of audio-visual equipment, loading equipment into vehicles, QC'ing equipment and performing basic maintenance on AV equipment, (i.e., fixing cables, soldering connectors) Maintains the warehouse as a clean and safe working environment; follow all safety guidelines Communicates equipment maintenance needs to the Mills James Warehouse Logistics Manager Collaborates on and completes projects on warehouse Maintenance and projects lists or other tasks assigned by Logistics ManagerREQUIREMENTSThe requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
