About the Role : We are looking for a skilled Automation Lead to guide and oversee the creation of automated test frameworks for both web and API services. This role will involve leading a team of automation engineers, ensuring quality through automation best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, API testing, and experience managing and mentoring teams. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 7 years of experience in automation testing with a focus on Selenium and API testing. - At least 3 years of leadership experience in managing or mentoring QA automation teams. - Proficiency in building test automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium WebDriver. - Expertise in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. - Strong coding skills in Java for test automation. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo for integrating automation into the development pipeline. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git. - Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the QA role within the development lifecycle. - Desired Behaviors- Self-Learner: self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. - Strong customer service orientation. - Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language. - Good written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. - Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required. - Equal Opportunity Statement Include a statement on commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
