The Client:

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, international art organisation in Paris. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in France on a permanent basis. This role is based in Mitry-Mory.

The Role:

Joining a dynamic team of logistics and transportation experts, you will provide solid expertise in logistics and all aspects of management of a sophisticated arts warehouse.

Responsibilities:

1. Management of the warehouse, shipping and installations teams (approx 15 people)
2. Supervision of transportation of art pieces to clients, fairs, exhibitions, workshops
3. Relationship management with suppliers and partners, insurers, negotiation of rates
4. Monitoring of KPIs
5. Training of new recruits
6. Development of procedures for global import/export
7. Logistics - inventory, updates, maintenance
8. Customs and related activity
9. Payments

Qualifications:

1. Strong background in logistics
2. Management experience
3. Fluent English, spoken and written
4. Hands-on approach, passion for art
5. Eye to detail, self-motivated worker

The Details and Benefits:

Salary level in the region of 80K Euros plus bonus.
