Job Description
Behaviour Mentor - Preston:
A Primary School near Preston are looking for an experienced Behaviour mentor to be the perfect mentor for pupils who are disengaged with their studies. The successful candidate will be confident in supporting pupils in small groups as well as on a 1-1 basis, using behaviour management techniques.
Responsibilities:
Offering guidance and mentoring
Providing a safe environment to learn
Dealing with any challenging or disruptive behaviour
Offering advice and support
Fully compliant in safeguarding policies and proceduresPosition Details:
Location: Preston
Position: Behaviour Mentor
Hours: 8am-3pm
Full time/part time: Full time only
Type of work: Temporary
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: Ongoing
Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day depending on experienceExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
Team Teach qualification would be highly desiredTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
