Location: Swindon, UK
Position: Full-Time Science Teacher
Start Date: January 2025
A mainstream secondary school in Swindon is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting in January. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and foster a love of science within a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons that meet the needs of all students (KS3 and KS4).
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning.
Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic growth.
Participate in school events, professional development, and community outreach activities.
Qualifications:
A relevant degree in a science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and QTS status.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and improving student outcomes.
