Days - Early Finish on Fridays
£31,000 - £35,000
Due to continued success across the business a market leading manufacturer is seeking to enhance its team on site with the appointment of mechanical fitters within their department.

Role Description
Read and analyse assembly drawings, bills of material and specification, to plan machine build operations
Fit and assemble components according to specifications. Using correct tools and recognised engineering methods, while verifying conformance of parts
Communicate any build and documentation issues to Operational Leadership and/or Engineering
Mark all fasteners and sign worksheet, to confirm torque and quality checks have been completed
Support internal and customer pre-delivery inspections.
Debug assemblies and machines by identifying and correcting problems affecting proper operation.
Dismantle equipment and assist with packing and loading if required
Ensure that time is booked to the relevant manufacturing order.Skills and Qualifications
Qualified preferably to ONC/HNC in a mechanical engineering subject.
3 years minimum experience in machine building and set up in a manufacturing environment.
Experience preferably in the machine building industry
Ability to read and understand drawings and build specifications.
Able to operate machine toolsCompany Information
