Position: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Health and Social Care
Location: ON-SITE, Northampton, UK
Salary: £28K - £55K/year (Based on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Monday-Friday or Wednesday-Sunday (9 am - 5 pm or 12 pm - 8 pm)

As an integral part of our vibrant team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering programs in Health and Social Care in collaboration with esteemed university partners.
Job Purpose: The appointed individual will join the progressive team at Elizabeth School of London Limited and contribute to the delivery of various full-time programs, including Foundation year and full-degree courses. These programs are developed in partnership with renowned institutions such as Canterbury Christ Church University, Bath Spa University, St Mary's University Twickenham London, and other Higher Education partners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Higher Education setting, with a focus on Foundation year in Health and Social Care.
- Tutor students, offering tailored support to help them achieve their academic goals and progress positively.
- Contribute actively to the development and continual improvement of courses, collaborating effectively with both staff and students.
- Participate in the creation of module/unit-specific Scheme of Work.
- Develop module materials for each of the modules being undertaken.
- Provide/Deliver/Facilitate subject-specific sessions in line with the Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of modules.
- Deploy assessments appropriately as outlined by the assessment team.
- Establish measures to understand the learning needs of students on their modules.
- Support students with timely formative feedback as prescribed by each of the program specifications.
- Mark and provide summative feedback within the prescribed deadline set by the Assessment Team.
- Ensure compliance with the expectations of the Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities under which modules are being taught.
- Produce appropriate module/unit reports.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Contribute to the School’s Research Department in the Holborn campus.
Essential Requirements:
- Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area.
- Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
- Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at the Higher Education level.
- Proficiency in utilizing Blackboard/VLEs, MS Teams, and Zoom.

- Experience working in the industry related to Health and Social Care.

- Tutor students, offering appropriate support to enable them to achieve their goals and progress to positive destinations.
- Contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and students.
- Contribute to the production of module/unit-specific Scheme of Work.
- Develop module materials for each of the modules being undertaken.
- Provide/Deliver/Facilitate subject-specific sessions in line with the Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of modules.

Competencies and Expertise: The successful applicant must demonstrate competence and experience in the subjects of statistics, ICT, accounting, finance, law, and economics.
