Job Description
We are currently looking for a General Manager at The Sherwood Ranger in Carlton-in-Lindrick. The Sherwood has undergone a massive £500,000 refurbishment as we have modernised and upgraded this great sports bar. As part of this, we are looking for passionate people to join the business.
The Sherwood Ranger is a huge part of the local community and we have turned it into a great place to come relax and unwind.
Day to day duties will include (but not limited to):
* Serving customers in a polite and timely manner
* Opening/closing up the pub when required
* Dealing with suppliers/stock check
* Cashing up at the end of the night
* Delegating responsibilities/training bar staff
* Bringing creativity to the role and helping to organise events
In return you will be offered the following remuneration package:
* Competitive basis salary
* Earn extra £££ with tips
* Progression opportunities - we are looking to expand and will be buying pubs across the Yorkshire area and will need managers to help with this
* 25% discount on all food and drinks
* Regular pay reviews
* Staff nights out
Requirements/Skills:
* Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices.
* Proven bar management experience.
